Warranty

Calplates.com LLC warrants that our products will be free from any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase the original purchaser.All of our products are customized online on our website by you (purchaser) which means Calplates.com LLC will emboss your custom letters and numbers which you enter during the ordering process. We will emboss your custom numbers and letters in a layout as close as possible to the originals. All products on this website are made of Aluminum and painted in colors as close as possible to the originals. The license plates you receive will be similar but not identical to the originals due to materials and color hues incorporated in our manufacturing process. You will be informed if your license plates are supplied with or without screw holes. License plates prior to 1956 are NOT supplied with screw holes because there was not a standard for screw holes placement prior to the year 1956. Calplates.com does NOT supply screw and mounting assemblies with license plates.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

1) Color Hues which may be different to the examples shown on Calplates.com website as a result of color distortions on the device screen used by customers.
2) Violations as a result of using product.
3) Damages caused by you or installer during installation process.
4) Any damages caused by, but not limited to, accidents, misuse of product and use in hazardous off-road conditions.
5) Damages caused by cleaning with hazardous chemicals and mechanical car washes.
6) Any damage from normal wear and tear.
7) Damage resulting from aggressive buffing, scrubbing and cleaning.
8) Any marks resulting from pressing (stamping or embossing) license plate.

PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

If product, upon receipt, has any defects or mistakes of customization, please:

a) Take a photo of item
b) Email image to: info@calplates.com
c) Briefly describe the defect
d) Always include your Invoice/Order Number and your Name with contact information.

Upon review, we will decide to replace with a corrected product or repair the product. If product is supplied as ordered, we will explain this to you by email.
